EBS in Skibbereen to Close

December 14, 2011

It has been announced that as part of the restructuring of the EBS following the takeover by AIB that the EBS franchise in Skibbereen is to close in February 1st 2012

Ronnie Tanner has been operating the EBS agency in the town for over 26 years but EBS customers recently received notification that Ronnie will cease this role at close of business on February 1st.

Those with accounts can operate these from other branches.

The closure follows the departure of ACC Bank and Irish Nationwide from the town in recent years and leaves the choice of banks in Skibbereen now at just 3 plus a very vibrant Credit Union.
